The Best Way to Keep Our Country Safe

John Kerry may have done some courageous things for his country when he had to in Vietnam, but something happened to him when he came back that persists to this day: He became a dove (or pacifist or whatever you want to call it). His pacifism has been amply demonstrated, starting by being anti-war when he got back from Vietnam, by continuously voting against advanced weapons systems for our military during his congressional tenure, and by supporting the interests of the "world" over the interests of the United States.

The war on terror is the most important issue facing our country in this election. A pacifist like John Kerry cannot win a war. George W. Bush has a proven record of success in this war, such as toppling the Taliban in Afghanistan, disrupting Al-Qaeda operations around the globe, and ending the rule of a brutal terrorist enabler, Saddam Hussein. We are winning the war because of President Bush and his team, but much remains to be done before the war is won. Let's keep the team on the field that's getting the job done instead of replacing them with a team that won't get the job done.
